Whimsical procrastination

I have two swaps with deadlines fast approaching and two projects owed to a friend "yesterday" type of thing so what do I do?

I start something new...

Totally copied inspired by syko Kajsa on Flickr, I just had the urge to get this made and out of my head.  I used some yummy blue Essex linen as the background.  And look - another funny bird!  Oh how I love quirky little birds!

Not sure what I should do with this little whimsical piece... maybe it will become an inspirational mini for my wall or a zippy pouch?

Anyways, now I can focus again on the things I SHOULD be working on!

It looks lovely as it is, but deserves to be added to something. Look forward to seeing what you do with it. Hope you have a good week.

Hi Amy , if you haven't got a copy of the Scandiavian Stitches book ( the home of that quirky cute bird ) I encourage you to get a copy . There are more bird projects and other little projects that you would love . Looking forward to seeing what you do with this . I used some of your scraps in my new Pouch swap project . Yay ! Thanks .

It is so so cute, love it... I would make it into a pouch... maybe ipad or e-reader style? I am a follower but visiting today from lets get acquainted!

I just love your whimsical/quirky birds! Sometimes the best thing you can do when you have deadlines is to start something new so that you are totally motivated to make your deadlines. Otherwise, you take so long dragging your feet with your deadlines that you could have done a dozen projects in the same time!!

So cute! You should definitely make it into something you can look at/use every day!
