ALYOF - March goal

Welcome to March!

My goal this month will be to finish my Amy Butler 'Happy Hour' baby quilt.

Embarrassingly, the fabrics and pattern were purchased several years ago.  The blocks were made with gusto but then I lost interest and put it away out of sight where it has lived ever since.  Time to get it done already!!

I still have a fair few of these fabrics left so I think I will make a pieced backing.

Hi Amy! I finished an Amy Butler quilt last month. I had had it lying around for almost two years and the thing is that I used to LOVE those fabrcis and now... well Ill have to live with it. Its not like Im going to start a new queen size quilt. Hahaha. Anyway, your fabrics are very pretty for a baby quilt. At least its what Id choose! Good luck on your finish! xxx

I am such an Amy Butler fan. This quilt is going to be so full of color and fun to look at when you finish it. Glad you took it back out.

Yay - the passage of a couple of years means you can refer to your Amy Butler now as a vintage/legacy collection (a la Denyse) that you cleverly 'laid down' like a fine wine?!
