Hello and thank you for visiting my blog!
My name is Amy and I love crafts - all kinds - especially quilting and sewing. In my 30-something years, I've done paper making, book binding, felting, welding, scrapbooking and lots more 'arts and crafts' and I STILL have so many things I want to learn how to do and make. I am currently enrolled in a pottery class which tests my skills and creativity once a week. One day I want to make interesting and useful things out of tin cans but my husband thinks I am crazy. There are so many things you can make using used tin cans so perhaps one day I will start a blog all about tin can art and crafts! Crochet, weaving and enamelling are a few of the things on my 'to-learn' list as well! In the meantime, I will continue to improve my sewing skills and make yummy quilts and things.
Oh yeah, I'm a Canadian and currently live in London UK (not London Ontario!). I'm a member of the London Modern Quilt Guild which is the first guild I have ever been a member of, and I love it!! My husband and I have a dog, Jax, who is a source of constant entertainment for us both! Jax is quite a character and I couldn't live without him. Who else would clean the kitchen floor (and not complain)?
I spend my free-time blog-hopping and buying fabric on-line. I grow my own vegetables and love to bake which does nothing for my waistline (except EXPAND it)! And that's about it about me I think, except that I LOOOOVE buttons, chocolate trifle and lily of the valley. I shall update you should anything change!
Happy quilting!
Hi Amy, nice to meet you. I popped over from your FliRTS mosaic. I love doxies too. I have one whose face looks quite similar to yours. Aren't they funny little creatures?
ReplyDeleteHi Amy, I hope you're enjoying living in London, how long had you been here? I've visited Canada twice and loved it.
ReplyDeleteI'm the owner of cats, though can definiately appreciated a floor cleaning dog.
