WiP QAYG

QAYG
There has to be a first time for everything and this, I believe, is my first time doing "quilt as you go".  I am following Maureen Cracknell's tutorial for 'qayg' for my Scrappy Stash log cabin quilt and my goal is to be able to link up a finished my 42-blocks by the deadline on the 13th!
A work in progress for sure...

And in other news, my set of Nesting Fabric Bowls (acuppaandacatchup pattern) are over on The Daily Stitch today - pop across and say hello!!  Here is one of Annie's photos:

  4. How is the QAYG going? I have my blocks made, and have not yet started the quilting process - a little nervous, I think, about trying a new technique!

  6. Good luck with the QAYG! I haven't tried that but I really should as it must be so much easier than trying to squish a whole quilt through the sewing machine!

    Love the stacked bowls!
